On October 5th the latest episode of Caprica will air.
Although it was only 6 months ago, my mind is a little hazy on the episodes. Regardless, here is a recap from what I recall:
The series debuted with Dr. Joachim Mizrahi once made his corporation, Vector, a huge success with the UMN - a virtual network where people could find any knowledge or pleasure. Now he struggling to develop an artificial intelligence to secure the future of Vector. After it became apparent that Vector could no longer profit off of access points to their UMN; Mizrahi announced that it would be free in the future - to the disgust of those on the board of directors at Vector. The board of directors was quieted when Mizrahi announced his latest prototype, ready for mass production; he called it, a Realian. Although, there was one very special Realian which housed the spirit and memory of his dead daughter. Now he struggles with the plight of whether or not he will extract the elusive Y data from her mind, the key to his ultimate success, or will he embrace the fact that he is once again one with his daughter. All at the same time of avoiding the Agents of U-Tic, a religious organization who worship the One True God.
Of course, we all know that the Realians, when exposed to the song of Nephilim, will have programs activated within them - and they will go beserk and destroy the planet of Miltia. We know this from battlestar Galactica.
Anyway, I can't wait for the show to return =)
