Hey Guys, just wanted to share my Opinion about GoWIII...

i didnt like the first two Title's very much , the Setting was not appealing to me, and Kratos wasnt able to do Stylish Combo's as Dante..

Accidentally, i found GoW3 pretty Cheap (okay, 30 Bucks still is something, but the Game i wanted, Dantes Inferno, wasnt available..) ...

and well..

IT IS AWESOME! .. i still dont like the Setting when i think about it, but i couldnt think about that very much, because there was one Epic Scene/Fight after another til i was finished, and almost everything in this game just blew my away.. ^_^

So even if it is not my kind of Game, i'd buy another one of it at Releaseday!  (even if Kratos' journey did end with part 3)

Yeah, i know it is released since march, and kind of an old Hat, but i was just SOOO impressed of it.. ^-^

GoW III is the most colorful and stylish out of the three, Stig did a great job making it colorful, the other devs didn't focus on the style.

Nah, you got it right, because the DI Setting was kinda interresting to me.

But im glad that i got GoW3, maybe it was fate. :o! ... BUT (and thats funny) i'll get Dantes Inferno as a present the Next Days from my Father, because i have broken my ankle and he wants to Help. (xP.. He wanted to get it for me! i wanted to pay for it. :P but naaahh... ;D)

I recommend maybe looking into getting Castlevania: Lord of the Shadows. From the looks of it it will be a very solid game in the same genre ;)

OT: GOW3 is a BEAST of a game :D

oh and btw if you have a psp or have access to one..Ghost of Sparta is coming this weekend

Indeed....the gameplay advancements in III are ignored and people say...oh... its just God of war 1 & 2.... WRONG ANSWER - Its GoW 1 & 2 with much bigger scale and better gameplay...more weapons FTW !

by the way, after 76% of the Games trophies (need all Gorgon Eyes and Minotaur Horns, as well as the second Walkthrough on Titan and all the God's Items) i took a break to watch the Video's... and Hell, they are a.) Interresting, and b.) DAMN Long. awesome additional Material, if you ask me.

Yeah...I really enjoyed the making of videos.....they had them in God of War II as well..

yeah i know, i have the GoW Collection  at home. Great Stuff too, even if the G3 Stuff is even better. :>

But a Question: Is it possible to do backtracking at the end? as mentioned, i am playing on Titan Difficulty now, and i still have to get the Horns/Eyes trophies. Do i have to get them while i am in a certain part of the Game, or is there a path to get some of the ones i missed?

I think you want to say God of War III is THE  in the title, meaning awesome.  Without the in there, it is saying the game is garbage.
