First US launch and then UE launch so for at least 4 weeks it will be doing better than needed. The question is how many units above the needed level it will sell.

This is what I hate about these forums beyond the pure trolls. All signs point to the 360 actually doing it yet a simple comment without any reason behind it.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

why im a troll? cant i have an opinion? the reason i said it is because i dont see the xbox selling 6m in two months, i may be proven wrong and i might be right. either way nobody knows for certain
360 will do this easily. It's going to have a monster holiday season this year.
What are your thoughts of next week ww sales of xbox?
I'm going with 368,500
Lets hope so.

I have to agree. The Xbox 360 is about where I expected it to be. It has kept its relative rate of sales steady compared to 2008 so it is in a perfect position to exceed what was achieved in 2008 over the final 9-10 weeks of the year. Next week ought to put the 360 at least a hundred thousand ahead of 2008 if not more.
Tease.

what?!?
almost everyone thought the Wii would fail, and fail miserably, most people thought it was a stupid idea, but look at what happened, the Wii becomes one of the most successful consoles of all time
now this time everyone thinks Kinect will be huge and successful, but in life, many times, the opposite happens, again just look at the Wii, because life is unpredictable If businesses could predict things, Sony or MS would have come up with something like the Wii first, but you cannot predict these things, or else everyone would be successul in business
If Nintendo truly saw Kinect as a threat, they would drop the price of the Wii.... because Nintendo could DEFINATELY afford a Wii price cut....hell the Wii was profitable when it first released unlike the PS3 and 360 which took a loss on every console for a while Nintendo could easily cut the price of the Wii and that would destroy the Kinect launch
but just watch....
If Nintendo does NOT cut the price of the Wii before the launch of Kinect, it means that Nintendo is SURE that Kinect will not do well, as they don't see Kinect as a threat at all, so they won't cut the price
think about it, why wouldn't Nintendo cut the price of the Wii? |
Because money is number one and they are still selling enough consoles at it's current price rate. If they fall off the earth after kinect, we will see a price cut.
no they wouldn't have cut price before kinect because what if they didn't need too. they will always wait it out and see what is the next step. SMart buisness to wait for your sales to drop off then cut price. Expecially in the position nintendo has put itself into.
Kinect in my mind has proven to me it will sell. Two people that played mine and don't own a gaming console are going out to buy it with there next pay day.
It's stupid easy fun with a good challenge in it. it gets addictive. will sell millions.
