Get a PS3/Wii, because I said so.

See more than 50% of the people practically said this to you in this thread. Both are good systems. But, if your a MGS fan, it would be best to get a PS3.

You list LBP as a game that won't sell well.  So what?  How does that effect how much fun you have playing the game?  And seeing as how it's highly anticipated I would disagree.  However, let's say you are right...take off Zack and Wiki from the Wii list, then, because that game already didn't sell well.  I guess that means it sucks.

Mario Kart?  2009.  yeah, I can do that, too.

DQ Swords?  Give me a break...maybe if you have kids.

Soul Calibur: Legends?  Give me a break...maybe if you have kids.

Batallion Wars Wii?  Oops, didn't sell well, so it must be a bust.  Actually, it's only mediocre (just like Folklore I guess).

But hey, you're better than me because you already know future PS3 games will suck.  That's awesome. 

How about we look at the opinions as they stand right now:

I'd like to add that for a lot of sports games the "definitive version" will be 360/PS3 for the forseeable future.  I expect EA to get its act together next year on the PS3, and a lot of the best sports titles are already good on the PS3. 

Anyway, 33 to 12 it looks like.  That's how many games each system has with a score of 80% or higher.  You can make it 35 since UT3 and Oblivion:  Game of the Year Edition are also on there but with fewer than 5 reviews right now.

You can keep claiming that all future PS3 games will suck or never come, but right now I'd take the future PS3 games over the future Wii games, and I have both systems.

Unless you've read the original post where he states that he infact already has a 360. Which doesn't leave much left on the PS3.

Also, unlike the games Twesterm mentioned, Mario Kart hasn't had extensive delays.

Additionally Little Big Planet relies very highly on user generated content.  Much like Will Wright's Spore.  Therefore if it sells poor it will effect your play expierence drastically.

 Nope, nothing at all...unless somehow Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Warhawk,Ratchet andClank, Uncharted and UT3 mean anything. And thats just for this year as exclusives (No one really knows when UT3 is done for the 360.)

 Next year brings Killzone 2, MGS4, GT5, potentially FFXIII but not likely.

Half of which arn't on the list. What's annoying is that winbane hasn't read the original topic. As for Folklore... have you seen the average reviews for that game? some people love it, some people hate it. Not something to be mentioned with R&C, Warhawk and Uncharted.

Neither is heavenly sword but atleast that rated well... despite many places both saying the game was too short and could get repeititve.

I don't give a shit which system has better games, I do however have a problem when people blindly start throwing their own biases in a thread to convince someone to buy a system without actually reading what the original poster wants... in this case, ignoring the fact that he already has a 360. Therefore counting multi-platform games that are on 360 (and perform better on 360) is retarded.

The fact remains that half the games on that list are multi-platform. So are a number of the Wii games since he has a gamecube and PS2.  Though atleast the Wii-mote makes a bit more of a difference then the 360 pad vs the PS3 pad.

It's rather silly to compare lists like that in this case.

Also, I actually agree with Twesterm that you can't count on Killzone or MGS4, they've already had massive delays.

Counting on them in 08 is like counting on your parents to quit smoking for good. You hope they will, but at the end of the day, you don't know what can happen and you won't be that surprised if they end up dissapointing you.
