@ blackfist, Uncharted 2 was made in 18 months with a $20m budget. So it is possible, you just need the right studio who already have experience on the console

Well, Halo Wars was mentioned in the first paragraph so perhaps you should take your own advice there ;) Yes the article is about more games from 343. It didn't specify that they be main games or spin off's or DLC, just more games. Halo Wars is a game and so would a sequel be. Munkeh111 just wants one plain and simple. His statement is not irrelevant to the thread because the thread is full of people spitting out ideas for possible Halo games, he was just the first one to say anything about Halo Wars 2. 

Munkeh didn't say anything about Bungie, so why did you? What was it in his comment about wishing for Halo Wars 2 compelled you to inform him that Bungie didn't make the first Halo Wars? It seems like such a bizarre response to what he said. Now had he said something like, "Oh awesome, MS wants more Halo games, now 343 can make a sequel to that great game Halo Wars that Bungie made", it would be perfectly normal for you to say what you did. I don't get what's so difficult about this, he just wants a Halo Wars 2. At least this is how I see it.

Hardly, it wasn't mentioned by name, and only a number that vaguely referred to it, that's not a mention worth noting. Halo wars, given the context of the OP, is irrelevant. Munkeh111's post was, therefore, irrelevant and distracting.

I don't know if you know this...but Bungie made four major, and one minor Halo games, also almost half of 343 studios are previouse Bungie employees, how can you possibly NOT bring up Bungie? how many times to I have to explain this, it's not rocket science, the article in the first thread was, contextually about 343 studios cranking out more Halo games, therefore Munkeh's post seemed ill informed. He said "I hope THEY make another Halo wars." Given the studio the article focused on, "they" was presumably 343 studios.


LOL, this is ridiculous.How many times do you need to explain it? I'd say a few more to yourself. How is it that someone's simple wishes for a Halo Wars 2 game from 343 is ill informed? He never mentioned it as a fact, just expressed it as a hope. I don't see how in this instance there is anything wrong with it.

You are so fixated on "correcting" something that doesn't need it. Speaking of corrections, your quote is off. Even if he did say it that way though, there is still nothing wrong with it. Him saying," I hope 343 makes ANOTHER Halo Wars" is not the same as saying, "I hope 343 makes another Halo Wars, just like the one 343 made last time". You can swap out 343 for Bungie in my hypothetical quote as an alternative statement that would then need your original Bungie response.

See his original statement for what it was, someone expressing their hopes for a new Halo game. The fact that it's Halo Wars 2 doesn't matter. It could be a remake of Combat Evolved or Halo 2 or a Halo game from the Covenant's perspective or Johnson's perspective, it doesn't matter. If you want to have a problem with Munkeh's hopes for Halo Wars 2 then you should have a problem with several others in this thread who also hope for new and different Halo games.

As I said before, it's not rocket science, it is all about context. It's not as hard as you seem to make it. Halo wars was not made by Bungie or 343 studios, it is folly to think that either would have any interest in making a sequal, especially given the low sales.
