Thanks i'll check these out. I love that alot of these Engines and stuff have communitys behind them or people online that you can get some sort of tutorial or walk through. And im always going to keep my options open on other places to get this game on like computers and web sites PSN is my dream so hopefully one day. I did some stuff on Gamemaker too but moved on to Blender. Thanks for the advice and all the stuff man it really helps.

You got any finished products published?

Yes. I made a few games and I'm working on others in Unity and Panda. I'm a freelance developer .

If you want to go to PSN. you will eventually, you need some experience and the PC is a good start. the communities can give great suggestions.

My dream is to make a wiiware game (or for the next Nintendo console) one day. And I say we should keep chasing those dreams

Ah cool, well once you get into gui programming I recommend you take a look at SFML. It is an extremely simple and easy to use graphic, and sound library - plus more.

If you're going to C then you can choose:

Panda3D that uses python or C and you don't need any external libraries.

Irrlitch : http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/

It's a simple, yet pretty good C engine to make games. You can use CopperCube to make game scenes and SFML for Audio, and  Newton for Physics (Irrlitch as basic collision detection). The community is one of the best I know. Is not as powerful as other engines, but for a start is great and is Open Source

here is a piece of the gallery: http://sourceforge.net/apps/gallery/irrlicht/index.php?g2_itemId=176

Lol I tried to make a game with some friends in highschool. I got books on C and went to work learning to code, making backstories, the permise, details on how it should play, graphics, and the like. After a month I was the only one working on it then I quit too. Make sure your friends are as dedicated to the project as you are.
