I have the Japanese Version WKC2 is a big improvement on the first WKC the enemy AI is taffer then the first and the combat is faster passed to with ranged attacks added to the mix. you can also import your  game data from the first WKC to. BTW there is only going to be one more WKC game after WKC2 it was planed a trilogy from day one with no more planed after that.

I have a question!

WKC2 comes with WKC right?

And is WKC much better with the upgraded features?

You don't get the Original WKC with WKC2 jus the ability to import your character data from WKC into WKC2, which allows you to start the game with all characters from LV40 if you got them past that point in WKC.

WKC2 is what WKC should have been i terms of difficulty and combat speed and online upgrades.

I heard you have to beat WKC1 to play WKC2 is this correct?... if so it's a no go for me unless I can, steal a save file >_>

You can make a new Avatar from scratch and start WKC2 from LV1 but the difficulty is much harder in WKC2 and I started with imported data from WKC with all characters at LV40 and I am finding it tough going without alot of grinding currently at LV51. there are also some undead enemy's that will not tack damage until you tack down there magic shields.

Actually, it's not going to be a trilogy, according to the series creator or one of those top honchos. The rumor about it being a trilogy was just that, a rumor. It was never planned to be a trilogy and WKC2, apparently, will be the end for the PS3 series (unless it does very well sales-wise).

I guess that the WKC Dogma Wars PSP game might be responsible for the initial rumors of WKC being a trilogy.

Really?! <.<

I was sure WKC was included with WKC2.

But what do you make of these articles then?:

"Famitsu confirms that the latest version of the original White Knight will be included in full. In White Knight 2, the original White Knight, Inishie no Kodou, is referred to as "1st part" while the sequel, Hikari to Yami no Kakusei, is referred to as "2nd part." 1st part will include the 130 pieces of content that were distributed as online download content. Your right sorry it looks like if you have played WKC you import your data but if you have not you start at LV1 at the binging of WKC but with the added features and upgrades of WKC2.

I see... I don't care if it's much harder, that's okay... I'll deal. I just rented WKC1... and didn't like it enough to beat it.

It sounds better. How is the story?

I'll rent this, maybe buy it... But I'm looking forward to ninokuni by them much more >_>

I completely missed that WKC2 was out in japan already, thanks, will order a copy asap

WKC was enjoyable and better than I had heard from most people, it was solid but not spectacular, main complaints for me was it was far too short (i did sinlgle player only) for an RPG and the game mechanics had been done before (and better imo) in previous games from other companies. It did feel like it lacked a little on the uniqueness front. Still a very enjoyable experience overall though

And as was pointed out to me in the previous post that there is actually WKC as part of WKC2 so you get to start from LV1 at the start of WKC if you have no save data from WKC but with the added features and upgrades of WKC2.

I just did not realize as I just imported my data right away which was useful for a Trophy LOL.

The Story is cool a darker tale then WKC but you get both so I will not rune it with a slight upgrade in graphics as well I hope you will get it when it is released or import it it is a very charming story with very fun online smaller the Monster Hunter.

I am also very much looking foreword to Ninokuni from what I have seen it will be LEVEL 5 best game on consoles this gen so far but fingers crossed for DC3.
