Forums - Gaming - Kudo: "Hardly anyone plays FPS on the PC anymore"

I booted up Sniper on my PC for 10 minutes last night...sandwiched between 3 hours sessions of Halo Reach. So he is wrong...

He's Japanese so I guess he think hardly anyone plays games on PC. I don't mean to be racist but the Japanese don't seem to realize that PC gaming isn't exactly 'small' even now. That's because PC gaming isn't big in Japan.

Anyway, that's almost insulting.

Lol, the utter lack of reading comprehension and MS blind hate cracks me up.  As usual, Kudo makes a very valid and useful point, but blind fanboys bash him without understanding his basic point.  The point he is trying to make is that 10 years ago, no one would have guessed that consoles would be the primary FPS platform in 2010.  Using that experience, he further projects that a similar change could occur with regard to kinect and "hardcore" games.

It is really a simple straightforward argument that has very substantial merit.  Of course, as typical on the internet, fanboys failed to comprehend it.

"now hardly anyone plays first person shooters on the PC anymore."

What's hard to comprehend about that?

ramses01, see what Fomaer posted above. Don't be so hypocritical and jump straight onto flaming other ppl. Maybe his comment about increasing fps gamers on consoles might have some legitimacy, but "hardly anyone plays fps on the pc anymore?". That's bullshit.

He made some good points unfortunately he ruined them with his comment about "hardly anyone" which then showed his ignorance. A shame really because up until that point he was doing OK.

This is a perfect example of lack of reading comprehension.  You take a very minor point of the article and make it the focus.  Moreover, taken in the context that Kudo gives, the statement is correct.

Minor point? Uh-huh.

That's a huge load of crap
