What are the chances he remakes the original Metal Gears?  I think that would be great if Snake could battle Big Boss in glorious HD.  It seems like there's really no where else to go with the story...we know what happens with snake, and we know what leads up to everything with Big Boss...

What's left to do?  All of the bad guys (and a few good guys) died, Meryl got married, and Raiden's arms fell off.  Everybody was happy.  Why mess with perfection?
