It won't be selling in April, Reggie promised by March 2011 and so did Iwata. Nintendo is known for keeping its word. Once Nintendo states this product will be out by this date, they mean this product will be out by said date. Notice when Nintendo announced TP they didn't say it would be out by a certain date they'd say we expect the game to come next fall etc...etc...
But I remember Nintendo promising TP on the GameCube so despite launching a Wii version they purposely released it on the GameCube to keep their promise.
Nintendo won't let us down again, however keep in mind Reggie also said the 3DS would be coming early next year. I also talked to an official Nintendo rep at PAX, well multiple reps actually and all of them said it was coming next year. So it seems likely that it will arrive Q1 2011.
