i hate to spell it out for you but y e s

Other M's great, I've gotten 100% and completed the (awesome) post game and came away pretty happy.  That said the story was totally awful (Capcom calibre basically, it really did feel like RE-in-space at times), and the artificial sectioning definitely held back the Metroidy exploration imo.  Overall, I'd have to say I liked Super and Fusion more, but Other M set down a great template that I hope to see Sakamoto (and Team Ninja) expand upon in the future (3DS Metroid 2 remake plz).  Just hopefully with a more open world design and far less cutscenes.  Also, no pixel hunts (ugh, they sucked).

Combat was great though (so fast!), 1st person worked WAY better than I expected, removing life/missile farming actually worked, the bosses were EPIC (Best. Ridley. Ever) and goddamn it's nice to have shinesparking and (a usable) screw/space jump back.  I was a little disappointed in the morphball bits though, sad to say Prime did the morphball better (though thats nearly all it did better gameplay wise imo).

i love the game but not gone lie some of the dialogue definitely had me raisin my eyebrows

I am loving the experience too.

People who demand Samus to be the silent badass and hate the fact that she's sharing with us her emotions, emotions that might help us to understand much better who she was and who she is, allowing us to construct her identity, to understand the path she's taking, are obviously on their right to feel as they want. But I think they are loosing a very delicate and interesting addition to the franchise, and moreso, to a Nintendo franchise, what might be a good thing to come, if not in old IPs, I do hope in new IPs at least.

About the statement that the restriction of the armory made a superior as a logical and insteresting addition, I've got something to say. Maybe because at the same time I am playing and loving the Mass Effect experience, I was thinking how great it would be if you could choose wheter to follow the directive or not, having to face comsequences afterwards. How would you like it?

Few more hours into it (just entered section 2) and so far only complaint is forced FPS search for specific pixel crap. That part is annoying and have been played better as a continuation of the cutscene itself.

Other than that, this is a great game so far.

People that don't like Samus talking are the people who think all women should shut the fuck up.  It's sexist.  SEXIST!!  I enjoy a woman who talks, has hobbies, and can make a good sandwich.  You hear me, ladies?  D21 is the sensitive type!  Especially around the balls.

^^^lol what he said

Bleh, too much cinematic and yammering to me. I just want to play my games, I don't want to listen to a bunch of nonsense that doesn't affect my gameplay. It seems well made for the people who like this type of game I guess, but to me it just reminds me too much of those cinematic HD games that take themselves way too seriously, which is part of the reason I prefer the Wii in the first place, because most of its games avoid this.
