What makes a lot more sense is to enable more people to enjoy and play in the world (read pay for a game and make a profit). I see no reason why motion control and voice cannot take a large part of the complication away from this game. Of course if you did buy Kinect you also actually do need an Xbox and guess what they already come with controllers so it is not massively far fetched if they could not pull this off with Motion and voice alone they could not supplement with a controller. I was a fan of the Mechwarrior series myself and am looking foward to that game and I can certainly see how that could be used with Kinect but the news on that games front has gone awfully quiet. |
The console interations of the Mechassault/warrior franchise are nothing like Steel Battalion. Hell, not even the PC iterations were. Those games are arcade shooters with sim elements. Steel Battalion is a sim, straight up. It's like if they announced they were bringing back Microsoft Flight Simulator and gave you Ace Combat.
