Forums - Nintendo - Take-Two says the Move is the "Wii HD"

@Kasz216 you didnt use common in your intial post. You said people bought Wii for such and such, which all I was saying is complete crap. I for one didnt buy Wii for Fit and I know a few people who have also done likewise

Ooh I get it, because the Wii has motion controls, and the PS3 has HD graphics, AND motion controls! Brilliant!

that was pretty much what i thought when i first saw move.   they chose something so similar to encourage ports and whatnot.  you generally see games made for the wii or games made for the HD systems.  with making the product closer to wii they can get wii games made for them too.

MrBubbles Review Threads: Bill Gates, Jak II, Kingdom Hearts II, The Strangers, Sly 2, Crackdown, Zohan, Quarantine, Klungo Sssavesss Teh World, MS@E3'08, WATCHMEN(movie), Shadow of the Colossus, The Saboteur

So the Wiimote in HD looks freaky and silly, while the Wiimote in SD looks simple and comforting.

I'm still calling a Zune on this.

It's... should of been fairly obviously implied.

I mean hell, I'm sure SOMEONE bought the Wii as a sexual devise or something... people have some strange reasons to buy shit.

But yeah, if it wasn't for the Wii products the wii would of flopped... hard.

If Wii Sports would of sucked, the Wii would of been Nintendo's dreamcast.  Not that they woulda went out of buisness but it would of been discontinued.

Even with the new imput, it's all about the games.

And that is the problem with the HD systems' motion controllers. The games are just "Me too" Wii games. We will not flock to the tech as long as they offer games we either don't want or already have . One could argue about exlcusive core games, but then they have to admit those games would control better on the Wii than a gamepad anyway.

@LordtheKnight  the Move hasnt been out a week yet, and Kinect dont come out till NOV. You cant write off something that hasnt even gotten a chance to show what it can do. Killzone3, Socom4, Eyepet, the Fight, Sorcery, Kinectimals. Those are 6 games of the top of my head that have NO Wii counterpart, so your argument about "me too" games show you are either ignoring some games or your just not looking stuff up. "We will not flock to the tech..." I for one will flock to it and some others have done so, because its been proven to work better. THats one of the problems I have with Wii, the motion sucks if your tech is crappy your gonna have crappy games unless you do what Ninty does and just give you the same games again but with slightly better graphics and very minor motion control elements, but one would have to ask what was the point then??? Just to suck in casuals to make a buck??? mission successful. After 4 years on the market and no improvement outside of an add-on that has less games for it than I have fingers. I gonna get my motion fix with one of the other 2

I'm not writing off what they "can" do. I'm writing off what they ARE doing. What they are doing is just ripping off either the Wii hit games or the controls that were adjusted for Wii games adapted from gamepads.

The third parties long shrugged off what the Wii could do, even when it was clear what the Wii was doing was good.
