First word of Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy... there may be a 012 in there somewhere... leaked out last week via Jump. Today, Square Enix gave the game an official teaser site.

Access the site for some music samples for now. The text beneath the logo says something along the lines of "The story of defeat in approach of the final battle" ... or something like that.

Square Enix also updated its Tokyo Game Show portal site with confirmation that the game will be playable at the show. Tetsuya Nomura hinted at this in Tweets last week.

The TGS page has a few tiny images of the game, showing off one of the new characters, Lightning:

This sequel to Dissidia Final Fantasy is due for PSP release in 2011.

Famitsu has posted an article on the game with larger versions of the above images and a staff list:

In its short look at the game, the site says to expect additional characters outside of Lightning and Kain, both of whom were revealed in Jump. Additionally, we can expect new maps, new BGM, new battle system elements, and an improved communication system.

The site says to expect a full look at the game in this week's print Famitsu, complete with an interview with Nomura and Takahashi.

they realy should start making a home console version of this game. 

Ishimoto is taking a bigger role of Squeenix. He did a great job on TWEWY and Crisis Core (primarily with remastering/remixes of a lot of the classical songs), and I look forward to hear his stuff.

Also, I really hope the cast double from the last game. Main complaint of the first.
