Love the game so far...Miss the Masterchief, but he folks of Noble Team are pretty awesome...really cool cutscenes too, if you're into the lore side of Halo. BTW, if you liked the books as well, getting at least the $79.99 bundle is a MUST!

wow you guys are making me feel horrible.
My girlfriend got me the standard edition and I was going to upgrade it to limited but I was so excited when I got the game I didn't bother going to the store and upgrading.

I only thumbed through it but it's real nice, yeah a piece of art. I imagine to someone like yourself who, is so thoroughly familiar with the fiction, would really appreciate all the details of it's content. The statue is awesome as well although I wish the figures had articulated joints.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Eh, it's not the first time it's happened. GT4 is an infinitely better game than GT3, yet it scored 6 points lower on Meta. Times change, standards change.

Halo 1 2 and 3 scored well because the reviewers like Halo. Halo Reach is the best of the bunch. It's plain stupid to have a website state a game is the best FPS experience. And then give it an 8. There are 2 reviews that have done with Reach on Meta. Yet the same site gave MW1 and 2 a 9? But yet they say Reach is better. Yes reviews are broken. Any Halo fan cannot understand how much better Reach is than previous games unless they have played it. The set pieces are rediculously good with the sheer amount of enemies and carnage of war going on. After playing it extensively, it's laughable to see the meta. |

Note that gamekult.com can be pretty harsch and has never been an Halo fansite and already put Halo3 a 7/10 ...
Also, they gave Heavy Rain a 6/10 and Sony was quite angry about it (they didnt get invitation for some press conference during some months lol).
It is pop corn time at the website forum (as it was for Heavy Rain ...)
