Multiplayer is not needed.

I don't know why people bitch about more content on the disk. This in no way shape or form has any impact on the single player whatsoever. I remember people bitching that Multiplayer shouldn't have been included in Uncharted 2 because it was unnecesary and dindn't fit with the game, and that that time should have been put into the sp. but it had one of the most fun MPs around, and you know what? I think the sp turned out ok too... :p

I hink they bitch when the added content isn't good. Say you have a great single player game the reviewer must still review the MP aspect of the game also..So it it turns out shit it's dropping the score value of what could of been a high scoring game.

Looks ok.. just wish they showed how necromorphs are controlled.

Multiplayer doesn't make it a must buy. And things like used buying have little impact on a games sales, regardless of what publishers want to spin. 

The game looks awesome. First, Dead Space is one of my favorite games this gen.

Multiplayer I'm not so sure about. But really, I hope they experiment, and it turns out well. If not, it's not a tragedy.

Well if you're going to link all the different EA studios together you have to include Bioware.
except original dead space wasn't like L4D at all.
And this is Visceral  or EA redwood (though they did do Dantes Inferno, and Godfather) Dead Space was brilliant in my opinion.

Pretty much a lot of my favorite games this gen.

Not gonna deny EA has bad games. But they have amazing, original ones as well.

Exactly same with piracy, studies just call BS, sure it doesn't help things, but if someone isn't going to buy it for 60 they're just not buying it cause the product wasn't within the customers demand range, therefore no customer is lost if they buy it for ten dollars cheaper.  If there are a lot of copies traded in even before the game gets a price drop, well that shows you how much people truly enjoyed it, they enjoyed it so much they don't even care to keep it in their collections to play later

well the thinking of the studio is adding multiplayer adds replay value people replaying their games aren't going to be selling them back to stores or to other people.  Fewer people selling used means the price stays higher for longer. 

However many games that add the multiplayer these days don't do that good of a job of it when they should focus on the single player or they don't support it well after so people just give up on the multiplayer aspect of the game

well, that is the multiplayer

but what about the solo ? perhaps it will be great ?

Now don't get me wrong, I like multiplayer I'm not gonna hate on it for people making it in a game, just it's far too often the singleplayer suffers for the sake of multi, and 90% of the time we don't even get local multi when these guys take away from the singleplayer... so weak single, not so great online, and I can't even play it with a few friends at my place?  *takes a trip to the gamestop to trade in*
