Wait a second, doesn't this movie follow the other live action RE movies? Or is this like the CGI RE movie that came out a while ago, closely following the games' premises?

I just lol'd. This movie was shot using James Cameron's technology for their 3D, and they had about 1/8 the budget of Avatar. Please explain to me how it is "better".

I know thats why i compaired it to avatar, and after see both of them in 3D i think RE used it better avatars 3D was a let down IMO they only used it for little thinks here and there

I guess it depends on what people want from 3D. I know Cameron was cautious about having the 3D effects seem overdone or gimmicky. He used it to create the feeling that you were actually there when watching it, as opposed to using the 3D for cheap scares or theme-parkish shit flying out of the screen at you.

I haven't seen RE yet, but I've seen a lot fo 3D movies and I prefer Avatar's approach. I plan on seeing RE this week though, so I hope the 3D stuff isn't too cheesy or overdone.

Meh it was ok.. i guess, it feels like i was watching a matrix clone in a Zombie movie.. i forgot half the time that the movie i was watching is Resident Evil
