Favorite: FFIX, best cast of characters and I really liked the pacing of the story.

Favorite: FFVII (masterpiece)

for worst its a toss up between 12 & 13.  i like the story of 12 but hate the whole MMO Rpg thing. I liked 13 battle system and music but the story is terrble and the chracters, good god.

best is a toss up between 6 (story characters GUA and everything) 7 the game that got me playing RPGs in the first place and 5 best battle system in the entire series in my opioion even if the story was meh

Bold is my... so I have to decide... hummm... my vote goes to FF12 for favorite and FF3 for worst.

Best: FFVI

Worst: FFVII

I really don't want to take the time to write a 10 paragraph post on why FFVI is just an incredible game so I'll just leave it at FFVI is an incredible game.

As for my worst, I don't think FFVII is a really bad game and isn't really the worst Final Fantasy game out there, but I picked it because it's the one that started the whole douchebag belt buckle covered main character and game that relied more on how pretty it was rather than a good story and interesting characters.

Favorite: FF9

Fucking brilliant game. Best music in a game, decent story, awesome gameplay.

Worst: FF8

Horrible gameplay, bad story, awesome music.

Favorite is FInal Fantasy IX

Least Favorite is III or V

My list changes often in the middle with IV and XII shuffling around a lot in a mind.

And I should clarify-- by belt buckle covered I really mean overly emo.  I really don't know how Cloud and Sephiroth are so popular when Cloud is one of the worst main characters ever and Sephiroth is one of the lamest villains ever.

You just said that to someone who think they're the best main character and villain.
