Until people stop buying them. I think it was last quarter Sony shipped more PS2's then Microsoft shipped X360's. The PS2 already sold 1.5 million so far this year and with the holidays coming up that number could double if not sell more, I'd say they got another full year until the PS2 is put to rest.
