when i am in yonkers i only get around 150 kilobytes with full and i am wondering if this is normal because i have seen youtube videos of people with 1 3g bar and get around 600 kb. this is weird because yonkers on the web map is supposed to have very fast speeds. the only time i got 500 kb was one time in the bronx and that was for only around a mile.
my phone is a samsung vibrant
usually in chicago area i get almost 1mbps speed using my 3G and i use it as a hotspot (tethering) for my MacBook Pro
pretty fast and no extra charge
