But what are you basing your assumptions on? I'm really just trying to understand your rationale behind your statement, but so far you're failing to provide me with anything at all. I'm basing my assumption that he's not racist on the fact that he's worked with dozens of white people, the majority of his fans are white, and he's dated at least one white woman for more than 3 months. And when did his name become synonymous with being racist? Has that ever been stated by someone besides say people on the internet? At the moment, it seems crazy to assume he's racist.

Common, Talib and Mos Def have sold nowhere near the amount of records as 2Pac, the Notorious B.I.G., Eminem and Jay-Z. Likewise, they have nowhere near the influence on the young white kids in the suburbs who made 2Pac, the Notorious B.I.G., Eminem and Jay-Z multi-millionaires.
It may be Black Culture, but the people making you a millionaire are not young thugs in Queensbridge or Compton; they are young white kids in the suburbs many of whom whose parents combine for $100k a year.
As for longevity, you are right, but playing that type of "game" will not get you rolling in Bentleys and owning private jets.
