I'm not going to be vindictive, hatmoza, and just kick him out.

Fair warning to all those who sign up:

If there is ever a 36 hour stint of inactivity, you will be modkilled.

NO QUESTIONS.

The only exceptions to this rule are if you are going away and don't have access to the game. But if I find that you were ever ever online during your period of inactivity, I shall modkill you as soon as EXACTLY 36 hours pass.

What if you are lurking on purpose though?   As to not bring attention to yourself.  I find that to be a little harsh

Lurking on purpose is even worst and it's not really a good way to go unnoticed since our first reflex when we don't have any leads is to check for lurkers.

then send a message to the mod every 24  hours saying "i'm an active lurker"

I'm sure the mod won't like the solution though :p

Purposely make yourself a lynch target?

If you're lurking as a townie, the mob is going to think you're a bomb or a doctor.

And if you're lurking as a townie, the town is going to think you're a mafia.

I dont see how it is worse,  but I do understand that they are looked at when all else fails.  Its just something i thought should be brought up.  Since it does happen,  whatever the reasoning being.

Its a better solution than just mod-killing them wouldnt you say?

Being a lurker doesnt instantly make you a lynch target,  its only something that townies fall back on when no other information is present.

Anytime someone is lurking they could be a number of things.   But do you really want the mod to have the power to kill off the person who could be your cop or doctor laying low after 36 hours no exceptions?  Last game is a prime example of this,  hatmoza would have been killed off and the town wouldnt have had the chance to win, they didnt win anyway but they had a chance.
