                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

I do not doubt this.  Resistance 2 is coming out in 2008 and it was released at the same time as Gears.  Also fits into Microsoft's Halo / Gears in alternating years.

Well they already have the engine which they just need to optimize. I am hoping for 4 player co-op and longer single player campaign. Really can't wait.
