Please state why guys.

I don't have a PSP from this gen so here it goes:

If by "this gen" you mean 2006 on:

Wii - 8/10

PC - 7/10

360 - 5/10

PS3 - 6/10

DS - 7/10

If you however think "this gen" for PC means any game that my PC can play then this is basically how it ends up:

PC - 20/10

Edit: statement why:

The Wii has by far the most fun games this gen, and I mean by FAR. It will also get you laid, and it is fun all around. The PC games this gen were absolutely attrocious and I feel like they were dumbed down and noobed up heavily for the console crowd that was also playing them. The 360 is just a crappy system that I regret buying. Who the fuckl pays to play online in 2010? Also there are almost no games that I want on it that I don't get in a superior form on my PC. It is fun, however for local multiplayer hence the 5, not 2, points. The PS3 has more interesting games which I can't get on the PC, they are mostly single-player though, so there's that. FInally, the DS has had just some weird and awesome as hell games, I'd give it an 8 but I haven't bought anythign new in a while and I really should get around to do that. If we count the PC as one single gen, then it wins by far and it has absolutely zero competition simpley because so many of the older games have yet to be topped by anything modern.

O.K, I'll tell you why

PS3 9.5 Well it has a blu ray player so that gets a bonus. And has more games I like than Any console ever... however none of my most favorite games which is why I can't give it a 10... but the number of quality games that interest me is high. FFXIII, Wipeout HD Fury, Demon Soul's, Valkyria Chronicles to name a few.

PC 9.5 Same story as PS3 only con is that it is more expensive... And it has most the xbox 360 games I like And it's reliable.
Starcraft 2, Supcom, Mass Effect Series, Bioshock, Crysis, Oblivion, Dragon Age, Dead Space.

Nintendo DS 9: I don't have a lot... but it has my favorite game of this gen. 9. The World Ends With You... my favorite this gen. As well as Pokemon which is always good.

PSP 8.5: Has some really good Games and is convenient: Crisis Core, Dissidia, Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Acid, Wipeout Pure.

Wii: 6. Relatively bad Graphics, Motion Controls... (I do not like move/kinect either) My favorite games for this is Punch Out, and SMGalaxy, and New Super Mario Bros... I played Twilight Princess on gamecube. I didn't find them all that spectacular though besides Twilight princess, which I bought for gamecube.

Xbox 360 6. I don't use this much, as my PC has most the games that interest me on this. Also, I've been through two RROD, with microsoft replacing one.. my favorite game on it is Lara Croft And The Guardian of Light which is really awesome. As well As Gears of War Series... As well as the remake to perfect dark, and perfect dark zero. and It has most of the PC series I like so if I didn't have a pc this score would go up.

360: 9/10 My favourite platform this gen, too many great games.

PC: 9/10 almost as good as 360, a lot of great games.

PS3: 8,5/10 Many great games but not as many as on 360. Also the controller sucks.

Wii 4/10 Not for me. The games just don't appeal to me.

DS: 2/10 Awful. Just awful. No good games at all and a tiny screen. Some times you are forced to poke the screen with a stick. That's great, especially in a bus/car/train which are the only places I could consider using a handheld.

PC this Gen so far has had some awesome games and even though a lot of them have been shared with the Consoles my preference when playing FPS game is on the PC unless it like Killzone 2 which is made to be played on console. games like Half Life 2, HF2 EP1,2 and Lost Cost, Bioshock got it before PS3 release, ESIV: Oblivion and many others plus the mods are awesome.  

PS3 had a very slow start to this Gen which was very disappointing following on of the PS2 success and initially there seemed to be a large Exclusive lineup that subsequently became smaller with many Games going Multiplatform and others that got canceled  because of development problems related to the complex system architecture and the stupidity of some of SONYs marketing team m PS3 uses but the PS3 despite all this the PS3 has had some of my most favorite games this Gen games Lite MGS4, FFXIII, NGS, NGS2, TOV, DMC4, VC ES, BlazBlue, SSFIV, TEKKEN 6 and many other import Japanese games but by this point 4 years into the PS3 lifespan the PS2 had a bigger lineup of games for me it is sad to say but the PS3 will never match the awesomeness that is the PS2 and the Original PS.     

Wii is the odd console this Gen I only got a Wii last mounth because I wonted some of the small lineup of Japanese HardCore games Like Xenoblade, Metroid OIther M the upcoming Last Story and some other Japanese  cool and rare games. 

PSP is a hit and miss system with some awesome games and som not so awesome games and to many  full of PS1 ports but I have loved the Awesomeness that are MGS PO, MGS PW, Dissidia FF and some other rear Japanese imports but I only hope that SONY do a better JOB getting developer support for the PSP2. 

and when the 3DS is released I will be getting one from Japan day 1.
