Forums - General - I cried while listening to this - Did you ?

I needed to drink water consistently for not drying up while watching the last five minutes, really. Lost is the best series ever made (apart from Sailor Moon) and the ending was very touching. Wise choice to put an end to a series full of awesomeness like this. Can't wait to rewatch it.

No, but I cried about wasting six years only to get such a bullshit ending.

This!

Hated the ending almost as much as I'd come to hate Jack.

I loved jack. Seriously! Specially on the final season. Flawed man? Yes. But he was their leader on one bizarre situation after another. And he did do several things right.

Plus Matthew Fox did a phenomenal job;

I disliked him more than any other character on the show. He was sickeningly sanctimonious; total God complex going on there. Just, ergh.

What did you expect? He's a doctor.

Seriously now. You need to seoarate 2 things: the character and Matthew Fox.

Fox did a great job.

The character had a lot of flaws. But all of them had flaws. Major ones. That was the point.

Everything they lived on the island was supposed to make them grow and change. And to be prepared for what happened on the last episode.

Also, on the last season, the character changed a lot. Remember in the Temple when he tells the leader there that he doesnt even trust himself? He was very different.

Lost is my favourite serie by far. Yeah, I conceed the end left a bittersweet ending. Nevertheless, I loved the ending anyway.

Hmmm... Personally I'd use another taste to describe that ending.

"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

"If you cant stand the sound of your own voice than dont become a singer !!!!!"

I watched less than 10 episodes during its whole duration, then I watched the last 3 or 4 and I thanked God for not having watched the others...

No, but I almost cried watching Terminator Salvation and Kick-Ass.

Yakuza 3 had me crying like a baby however.

I have separated them - I haven't mentioned Fox once. I'm talking about how I found Jack, as a character, extremely annoying throughout. I just didn't like him; not everyone has to fall in love with Jack!

Not everyone has to like Kate either. I hate her guts.

Yes, they do.

Now seriously, thats fine. But precisely because you handt mentioned Fox's name that I wasnt sure if you had separated them or not.

But you have and I agree that the character had many flaws. But IMO, it just made him more real and compelling.
