i'm going to try alpha protocol soon,sounds alright to me

but i like to buy new games for £20 or 2 for £30 so have to wait

Kane & Lynch 2 is a really bad game, really really bad. I've enjoyed some of the worst shooters of this gen like Fracture, Legendary, Haze, Jericho etc, but K&L2 is just boring. I couldn't even finish it's 3 hour campaign. I'd recommend that everyone avoid the title, the presentation is great, but everything else about the game is rubbish.

I wonder why it turned out to be so bad. And how can you make such a short campaign? It's suicide for a developer.

Probably a small budget and wrong priorities.

I have to agree with Doobie_woop, I loved the first kane and lynch, and when i saw this game on offer in gamestation for £24:99 i snapped it up straight away.

There was barley a story line, the ending i didnt even know was coming, i was just plodding along, yes about 4 hours in then bam credits, i was hoping it was a joke and maybe there was some missions after but no.

Online play is similar to the first one though which i did like, but thats all i have to say about it thats good, giving news on a games that should have been so much better makes me a sad gamer :(

Unless you plan on getting into the multiplayer, I would just rent this game.  The first one was a guilty pleasure for me and I was looking forward to the sequel.  The presentation is fantastic.  It's got a look and feel all it's own.  The banter between Kane and Lynch is great.  The game play is very average.  The story was not flushed out at all and at times I really had no idea what was going on.  The campaign was short, appx. 6 hours for me, and there is very little reason to replay it besides achievements and trophies.  I was never interested in the multiplayer so I can't comment about it. 

If you liked the first one, it's worth checking out.  Just shut your brain off and have some fun.
