I have been very interested in move (kinect too I like motion controls) and depending on how good it is I might get a ps3 to replace my wii(just not as accurate as I would like and so far I haven't liked a whole lot of the games) So i am glad to read hands on about it. Have you used a wii(with motion plus) and if so how does it stack up to that?

I've played with move and i can say it's much better than wii sports resort, both games have archery i think, and on move it's much more accurate, i would replace your wii for a ps3 if you could, cause then you get the best of both worlds- amazing motion controls and amazing hardcore games

Not with motion plus, but Move seemed more difficult than the normal wiimote because you need to do the whole movement. You can't just stop halfway or drop off.

It detects spin properly and strenght of hits over wii motion plus on table tennis hang on a minute and I will post proof

My friends and I have been battling at table teenins (wii sports resorts) and that is the biggest problem, getting spin right and backhand forehand switches seem to muck about sometimes. So this is looking good for me!

looks like this will be first gen with multiple consoles, and i may end will all three, and all three motion controls. Lol

Yeah. Buttons are such a problem ~end sarcasm

Seriously, they are! They're the size of the and - buttons so you have to look when you hit a button fast.

So you weren't very pleased with it because you didn't want to move your arms too much? And this is supposed to be a reliable hands-on?

Give me a break.

No, because you HAD to move your arms in specific ways. You had to pull off the gestures almost exact or nothing would register.

It's actually the reason nintendo keeps giving for not doing 1 to 1 motion. They say it would be to diffucult for people to get it right and would frustate them, which i agree with maybe for casuals, but for me I want that precise gesture movement. I dont want a lot of space for wiggle or waggle.

umm ... well, (ouch my head) isn't that how Sony's been advertising the Move from the start?

Sounds great. I'll be waiting to make any more motion-control purchases until the beginning of next gen (not counting the revised PS3 and 360 as "next gen" in this case). It'll take a number of years, I know, but I'm content with everything i own at the moment.

I think it'll be good if games can give a little assist while gesturing. The hardware  itself worked fine (hopefully most game won't need to use the buttons alot). It looks like it'd depend on the software.

I am betting it was just for that one particluar mini-game, I can't wait to try gladiators, also another gestured based controled game I played on was heavy rain and I had zero issues pulling off the move, just food for thought, you just need to get used to move

it's the future of handheld
