but gamestop is a WW retailer ? or only NA ? or NA UK ?

I know there is not in france.

In the Uk the is no such thing as gamestop. Here its

Game

Gamestation

Those are the main ones. And the funny thing is one company brought out the other one

so, it is not sold out WW ?

it is just in NA ?

well, then, I m not that surprise. Just look at the insane pre-orders numbers...

GamesStop has over 1.000 stores in Europe.

About France:

"In October 2008, GameStop announced it would purchase France’s leading video-game retailer, Micromania, from the L Capital equity fund for $708 million, including debt.[9] The purchase of Micromania will add 332 locations (boosting locations in Europe to 1,077 total) and expand GameStop into France for the first time. Micromania President Directeur General Pierre Cuilleret will keep his current post.[10][dead link] GameStop financed the purchase with cash on hand, credit, and $150 million loan from Bank of America.[11][dead link]

This acquisition took place in November 2008."

I just checked the German GameStop website. Legendary and the Limited Editions are sold out. The 360 Reach bundle seems to be in stock.

ah, yes, Micromania is quite big in France
At least, it was, in the sense there are, NOW, lot of others options to get your games.
But, in the past, they were a bit precursseur and alone in the french market.

There is gong to be so much crying for the 360 haters come Reach's launch numbers...lol.  Mark this thread, and my reply, as when the numbers come out, watch them back track and say....well, it's not surprising, since it is Halo, and that's what drives the 360, eventhough since LAST year for ODST's launch, they said Halo Reach would sell only 6-7 million LTD...just watch.

you think that's bad read my sig

BTW I can Pre-Order still at my local Gamestop. But Reach is one of my 20 dollar title pick up laters anyways.

Still waiting for ODST! >.<

You can pre-order the normal version of the game but none of the special editions or the Halo Reach 360.

And BTW if there is 1 game that you should buy right away when it comes out its Halo Reach.....it has something for almost everyone.

Only FPS game I will buy on day 1 in the immediate future is Killzone 3. All others can wait until they are dirt cheap. Tired of shelling out for 6-7 hour games at full price.

But Reach is gonna have a longer campaign then any other Halo and its campaign is gonna be simply amazing.

Plus its packed with ridiculous amounts of other modes that you can play.

Replayability for it (if you don't like multiplayer modes) is well over the 30 hour mark and thats just if you dabble in the game.

Basically if there was ever a game released thats worth $60 its this game.

I concure! This is the only game this gen that I have not purchased used.

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

I sooo want Reach but I'd have to buy a 360 and now I don't know what to do.

Seriously............................................................

I don't even like the singleplayer part of Halo but the multiplayer is one of the (or THE?) best out there.

Help me people!

What should I buy? I mean what bundle? Arcade, Elite, Halo Edition?!

The Halo edition is a sweet deal.

The Halo edition is a sweet deal.

Yeah but it's pretty pricey. I don't really need two controllers because all my friends already own a 360. But then again this bundle will be more valuable in the future. It's hard to decide!

Go for the Reach bundle mate.

In Germany they are sold out , so i guess French is going the same way and the U.K... also Italy... Big Xbox markets.

But the real deal is in Americas... Mexicans , Canadians and Americans are going to buy this game ALOT :D

I say get the reach bundle, but if price is really a factor then I suggest you buy the 360s arcade, a cheap(not too cheap) 16 gb usb stick, a few cheap games, Halo Reach of course, and a year of xbox live all for the price of the reach bundle.

Well it is the last Bungie Halo game. So it is expected.

While this is the rumor, I will believe it when I see it.  Bungie may make a new IP in the meantime but i honestly believe they will come back to the Haloverse at some point in time.  They know it better than anyone else and I have high hopes they will indeed return to it.  If I am mistaken, then only time will tell.

Either way this games going to be  a blast and I can only hope their new IP lives up to this one.  And if it does its going to be awesome.

Halo: Reach will be Bungie's last Halo title.

Speaking to IGN this afternoon in an interview, Bungie writer Joseph Staten confirmed the new 10-year publishing deal with Activision effectively ends any possibility of the studio returning to Halo in the future.

"I think we can say that Halo: Reach will be our last Halo game," he said.

Staten did note the studio plans on fully supporting Halo: Reach well beyond its launch date this coming fall. Microsoft currently owns the Halo franchise. It's expected the company's internal development team will continue to create Halo games exclusively for Xbox 360.

In unclear when Bungie will debut its newest project, but Staten said the studio is focusing on Halo: Reach through 2010, so fans shouldn't expect any news until 2011 at the earliest.

I don't think that is a rumor.
