Forums - Gaming - Mega Man Universe Gameplay trailers debut!

Capcom’s lifted the lid on what Mega Man Universe looks like in action today. Distributing three different trailers to three different gaming sites, we see a classic Mega Man level structure with classic Mega Man graphics with either Rockman, Bad Box Art Mega Man, or Mega Man (yes, there’s apparently a difference between Mega Man and Rockman) running through the stage.

Weird thing about it is that the character graphics don’t really match the background graphics at all. At the end of each trailer, a playable Ryu is teased.

My opinion: honestly not liking the look of it. The art direction doesn’t impress me a bit. But we’ll see how it turns out.

The trailers can be seen below.

I used to have hope for the Megaman franchise but I'm starting to realize that they don't want to let go of the past.

Looks like shit, I'd rather have more 8-bit Mega Man, not a half-assed HD crap pretending to be the old-school game.

Im pleased and offended... The game looks great, especially with the LBPness hinted it, buuuuut im alittle disappointed again that Capcom has Not given Mega Man a REAL outing. just lost of testing the waters stuff

It looks... kind of lame.

I'm surprised this isn't coming out on the wii - the wii can run this.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

The character models look horrible.

Not interested. I'm not saying it looks bad or anything, just not interested.

So its just a remake of old games with Ryu and a bunch of others as a playable characters? i've seen a lot of flash games with more content...

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...
