The Move? Makes me think of The Batman when I see it. I thought it was just supposed to be Move. The subject had me wondering about what million sellers after the move to where.

Any game that's released for the Move (or Kinect, or Wii Balance Board or ANY peripheral for that matter) is only going to have an audience that's a fraction of the actual console's market. As more and more games are released for that peripheral, the competition for that piece of an already divided pie is going to increase. If 50% (and that's being EXTREMELY optimistic) of the PS3 owners buy a Move, smaller percentage of Move owners will find any particular Move game appealing. So, to make a long story short: No.
^^And keep in mind that those "Move only" games won't just be competing with other "Move only games" for a slice of the move pie. Since only a portion of the PS3 audience will ever actually own a move. If "Super Move Kart" comes out for the Move, it's going to be competing with "Super Move Ball", "Super Move Paint", "Move Country", "Roscoe: the Fish With Human Legs-Move Edition", and every single game available for the PS3. Just because people have the PS3 move doesn't mean they will quit buying tradition PS3 games.
Any game for any peripheral from any company that sells 500,000 copies I'll consider a mega-hit. Any game that actually sells a million (after the initial boom dies down) is damn near divinity.
No way... 360 will lead the way once again... Kinect Games will sell bunch of loads in Americas and i believe Adventures will reach 1 milion before any Ps3 Move Game.

Isn't "Adventures" going to be packed with every Kinect, anyway?

Thank God someone sees it. Why move/kinect would have more success than WMplus, Wii Fit table, or any other periferical developed for any console in all the videogame history? Move/kinect have an install base of 0 units so far, they are trojan horses for the next generation.

I think so. I'm anticipating some serious arguing around here whether the sales count or not a'la Wii Sports. I don't believe Sony has a pack in title but I could be wrong, so hopefully there will be less arguing about that.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Metascore doesn't mean much for casual games. These three games got abysmal scores but are all over 1 million: http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii/game-party-2 http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii/carnival-games-mini-golf http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii/jillian-michaels-fitness-ultimatum-2009 |
Well the Wii has a massive casual audience and those games were released at a budget price. Carnival Games and Game Party were released for $20.
Will casuals buy the PS3, a Move bundle, and higher priced Move games? Don't expect much.
