The new iPod models look nice, but the statement that iPod Touch and iPhone sold more than DS and PSP together was just fail...

The slide says outsells, not outsold. Present tense. As in current rates of sale in some unspecified time frame smaller than 'lifetime'. Maybe this year to date, maybe the last quarter, maybe last week.
Check out handheld console sales lately. They're not as hard to beat as they were in 2008. The iPod Touch could beat the past few weeks of handheld console sales with only 400,000 units a week, which would account for about 25% of iOS device sales the past couple months.
On a related note, I'm surprised that Apple isn't keeping the 3rd gen iPod Touch around as a cheapo model. They're packing an 8GB 4th gen at $230 instead. Perhaps they really want to push this FaceTime stuff, or maybe they didn't want the feature disparity between models this time.
