Before i mock the shit out of this game. I would like to know what else came from this amateur developer program.

A couple of PSP titles, I believe. I can't think of anything in particular (Badman maybe?), but Echochrome was the product of a similar program pre-C.A.M.P. This latest program was started in late 2008 or so, and it's almost a game of sorts. Basically, anybody in Japan who thinks they have a cool game idea, great game design skills, or what have you can audition in the hopes of getting a contract with Sony. You can read a bit more about it over at Andriasang.

This is the first ps3 title to come out of the program, which implies SCEJ are happy with the results they've been getting, and are now willing to invest in larger projects.
