Ive not played any Metroid games before should i play the trilogy before Other M, and can anyone give me some details on the background of the game and what its all about, i no shes a bounty hunter but can anyone can give me anymore details

I'd get Super Metroid first as its play style is closer to OtherM and its only $8.

The only Metroid that I've played before Other M is Corruption. That History of Metroid video really helped

Her being a bounty hunter is almost somewhat of a misnomer. Like Mario being a plumber, it has little to do with what she actually does

She's closer to mercenary, if anything.

Or freelance destructive force of nature.

Or a hotty inside an unsexy armor.

The Prime series will have very little to nothing to do with what happens in Other M. Other M focuses on expanding what happened between Super Metroid and Fussion. Prime series happened between Metroid and Metroid 2.
