Ha, you were saying disolitude

Looks amazing, february for Europe, just intime for MK9!

looks promissing but alone won't be sufficient. We need 8 directional setup not just the standard 4...

That's a myth, done properly you only need 4

On the board, yes I agree you can have only up, down, left, right...But you really need 8 directions on the dpad itself. Example... Sega Saturn pad, best pad in the world.

Yep, technically you only need 4 directions on the board to make it work well its the actual dpad design that most important.  I would pay Sega a small fee and try and take the design they used for the megadrive 6 button pad, thats my favourite dpad of all time, even outranks the saturn for me.

Who cares I have to buy a new controller because microsoft didn't get it right five years ago, ha and the dpad annoys me all the time.

The original was perfect except for the dpad.  I already grabbed a Fight Pad so I may not be getting the new redesign. I hear great things about the 3rd party Razer Onza" controller, though.

Have hear things like, "it looks awesome and has mappaple bumpers and tension control on the sticks"? or have you heard from people with hands-on?

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I don't know anybody that's actually gotten one but every site I've googled since reading about it in Game Informer say that it's a huge improvement over the traditional controller.  It's wired, though.  That's somewhat of a drawback but then so is every third party controller for the 360 that I've seen.

Yeah I'm seriously considering getting it but if I do it'll be after it's out for a minute and there are some regular people giving their opinions. As far as wired vs. wireless, where do you stand on the idea that wireless has lag, perceivable or not?

Isn't that to do with Microsoft stopping 3rd party controllers from being wireless, Sony stops them from being bluetooth I think, meaning they need a dongle, but I don't think any do that on the 360. That for me, is enough not to get a 3rd party controller

Sadly, the Onza is not commercially available yet (November I think?).  For single player games, I will be getting this for sure.  For my MP games though, I think the new MS wireless controller would be perfect (my headphones, combined with wired controllers = ton of static electricity).  Wait...$140 in controllers in the next few months?  There is probably something wrong with me.

This is accurate: MS does not allow 3rd party wireless controllers, only wired.

Someone else asked about the lag difference between wired vs wireless: I have a wired Modern Warfare controller and there is no discernable difference (to me) between that controller and my wireless ones.

Explain to me the problem you have with your headphones and wired controllers. I use headphones but have always used a wireless controller but am considering the Onza and I'm not familiar with any potential problems with a setup like mine. Is it a situation where the controller somehow interferes?
