Square Enix has announced many titles this year and they aren't done yet. Next week they'll announce a new game and it may be the Square Enix LA studio title. As of now, there are no details about the game or what system it'll be for, but this opens the door to speculation.

According to Franko Fonseca, Assistant Director of Operations at Square Enix US, the new title will be announced week. He posted on his Twitter: "I'm excited, the first game I have an AP [Assistant Producer] credit in is being announced this week."

Square Enix LA has been developing a game for over a year now and no one knows what it is, meanwhile Square Enix in Japan is busy with Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Third Birthday. Last week a teaser site for a new SaGa game appeared, so it could be related to that.

They have a panel at PAX in the main theatre but they did not give any more info after that. Maybe to discuss the new title?

I'm praying for Ogre Battle 3D, Chrono 3D, the Soul Blazer trilogy/Seiken Densetsu 3 on the Virtual Console, a Xenogears remake or Dragon Quest VI coming to the West or another collaboration with Nintendo to make 'Super Mario RPG Wii'.

But deep in my heart I know that it will be something I don't give a toss about

Could it be this Fortress thing that seems to have been in the pipeline since last year (or longer). and i dont think the studio in Japan is developing because it was orignally outsourced to Grin, until they went bust!!
