 I recommend you to investigate a little bit more the wii library, there are a lot of good games that you may not be taking in consideration...

Reviews are unreliable dude. Don't worry too much about them. It seems like these days unless a game gets a 9 or higher people say it blows. As long as a game gets decent reviews (like 6 or better) and looks like it has a cool story (or original idea) then I'll give it a try.

I'm sorta with you, nothing coming this year for any console interests me all that much.  I think I'm going through a "bored of games" period that'll probably last until 3DS.

I was very loyal with Nintendo untill the Gamecube. I realised then that other consoles had more to offer for me because of the lack of good third party titles compared to the PS2 and xbox. On the Sony and Microsoft systems the third party software is so much better than on nintendo consoles nowadays.

I have a xbox 360, but maybe gonna buy the Wii for some nice first party games.
