Hello and thank you for entering the "help this PC dummy understand videos cards (Intel Edition)"
Seriously. I have a PC. Duh.
Its an Intel one. Its a great PC, but the video card sucks horribly.
I have been thinking about maybe getting a new one depending on price. But I dont know the first thing about those things.
So here is what I have:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7300 @ 2.66GHz
4.0 GB RAM
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition Service Pack 2 (build 6002), 64-bit
Video card - Intel(R) GMA 3100xpress Chipset Fam
If there is any info missing, tell me and also tell me where to find it (again - me --> dummy)
This PC was bought my father. He bought the whole Intel package together so I can only replace it with another Intel video card or he loses the extra warranty he got or something.
So, I need help knowing what are the best Intel video cards available nowadays that can be used on my PC.
Now, a few pointers:
1) Im a dummy about PCs so talk to me like Im a child
2) Dont give me links to stores with promotions. I live in Brazil so there is no way for me to use. Just the info is good enough. Se vc for brasileiro, tudo bem
3) Thank you for reading all of this and for trying to help me.
PS - I have been to System Requirements Lab (http://svc.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI) and the rest of My PC usually does well. Except for games that are about to release like Civilization V for example. The rest, I at least pass on minimum requirements.
