As far as I, and almost everyone in this thread, can tell...End of 2010 is looking pretty good for the PS3.  GT5, LBP2, and Sly Collection will do just fine to end 2010.  I know for a fact i'll be getting all 3 before the end of the year.  Can you please tell me what makes the end of 2010 for the 360 superior to the PS3.  Halo Reach I'm guessing is your answer?

OT: Yea PS3 has some really nice exclusives coming out next year but i expect MS to retaliate with some of their own.  Even though it won't match the complete domination Sony is putting on, MS can at least try.

so a halo fan thinks that kinect is going to move the 360 to the top. you do know that 360 being number weekly is because of two redesigns. and that before that it was strugling to get to 90k a week.

WTF. First off, I'm not overhyping Reach, there is no such thing as overhyping a game that is set to simply obliderate any FPS that is out, and will be coming out in the next year or so. Secondly, I said you MAY be eating a lot of crow, learn to fricking read. And thirdly, you are assuming that MS will not be announcing any exclusives other than what they already have, even though it is a trend for them to wait till the preverbial last minute. Your type said the Xbox would never catch up in sales and that MS had nothing that could counter PS3 sales...look how that all panned out, stop assuming shit, because everybody knows what happens when you assume.

Twisted Metal is a huge franchise with a solid fanbase and following it may Metacritic in the 80s but it will have a hardcore following.   Resistance  has been a solid B level franchise since day one the PS3.  3 will likely continue this.  Infamous again is a franchise hovering around Uncharted / Kill Zone status....Looks to be greatly improved over the first one.   Last Guardian is to iffy to be released in my opinion but I am hopeful and FFXIV doesn't interest me since it's almost definitely timed exclusive. 

 

Kinect and Move don't belong in this yet because quite honestly either one could completely flop and fail.  (If I were betting, I would bet Kinect but that is just a different story for a different day).  To my eyes, the Move lineup is superior anyways with more titles to boot and it appears more titles are being given legacy support for Move (See Heavy Rain) or included support with Move and Regular control options (See LBP2/Killzone 3). Something that I really haven't seen too much out of Kinect yet.  And to even further the point, there is a strong chance that a lot of third party Wii games will make their way over exclusively to Wii/PS3 because of similarity in controls. 


Why's that? Are Xbox 360 owners allergic to playing anything but exclusives? And I'm sure as hell not sweating bullets waiting for games to be announced. I've got plenty of stuff coming out this year and next year that I want to play, but please, do keep generalizing.

Surely not.   I think we all can agree that the best efforts from all three consoles have been the exclusive ones however.  If I were buying a console on January 1st 2011 and looking at the upcoming library?  The 360 would be behind  Nintendo and the PS3 in terms of desired software lineups.

Your very defensive presence throughout this thread insisting that you are perfectly fine playing what will more than likely amount to mostly average third party efforts is not generalizing.  It's calling a spade a spade.   

I know personally as a 360 owner,  I have higher hopes for the library other than Gears 3.....



that day actually my 21st birthday and im actually going to buy a new 360 because my prod on me and i dont care all about exclsuives all i really want to play is halo reach and gears of war 3 the gears trilogy is my all time fav game this generation
