Good to hear.  Although the title isn't really good.  It is the voice transmission quality that is getting a boost, not the headset.  It will affect Kinect voice chatting and such as well.

Good on microsoft for doing this. I don't use my microphone on my PS3 because of this reason, its to crackling, laggy, everyones mic is louder or quiters then others and it hurts your ears. Hope sony can improove this too.

Sony really need to sort out the headset quality on their machine. It's fine for one on one chat, but when lots of players join, the sound quality can be abysmal.

All i can say that is that it is about damn time. Now I can swear at people with more clearity,lol.

That's cool. I often have problems hearing people clearly. I don't have problems talking with my IRL friends online though, so it's probably not a hardware issue. I think I'd still buy another headset though, the wireless one that I saw on the Reach bundle seems pretty cool.

Good because I'm going to be doing ALOT of smack talking in Reach and Black Ops this fall. For some reason Call of Duty brings out the worst in me though so I'm sure I'll be much worse on that. Maybe its the campers.
