Well I'm not very impressed by the screenshot ...
Sure, I'm excited because is Street Fighter ( THE King ). I didn't know that Dimps is the developers.
What do you think about them ? What have they developed in the past ?

If someone own both systems Wii's port definitely won't be a version to pick up. I'd say PS3's users value fighting games the most. If someone really enjoys fighters PS3 is the best choice because of lineup and standard controller. Virtua Fighter 5 port despite being superior to PS3's version pretty much flopped on X360. |
well if they use the classic controller it can be just as good

Classic? Maybe. D-pad in bundled X360 controller is even worse than in PSP as for fighters. For PS3 you have also pretty broad selection of dedicated arcade sticks (four models hehe) while X360 owner can use only low-end Hori model AFAIK. If there is a fighter which really takes an adventage of arcade stick it's SF (b, db,d,df, f etc.)

Done by capcom, they show love to the Wii (2 RE, We Love Golf, Monster Hunter 3). For me the screen isn't that impressive that I would say the Wii can't handle it.
@ Leo-J
May I ask why? Street fighter should be a japanese/american game (in term of sales). The Wii should fit.
@kber81
You point is valid in terms of controls. As far as I know Mortal Combat Wii got a lot of hate for the controls. Do we know it is multiplatform?

That's funny, because I remember reading about a console which got plenty of inferior ports, but I can't seem to remember which one it was!

It's not going to be on the Wii, no reason to even believe that. The pic is not in high resolution, but the engine looks too good to be supported by Wii Hardware. And like the article said, Capcom has recently been doing 360/PS3/PC. 1up belived that as well as Kotaku but you still want to say it's gonna be on the Wii. :(

Sure planty of games work better on X360 but Wii version is always way below not only X360 version but PS3's aswell. If I own X360 (actually price of arcade in Poland is dangerously close to my sweet point for this system right now) I will buy the best version available no matter which system. Funny thing is you can't say anything reasonable... would you buy Wii version if you own X360/PS3?
Maybe the wii version can come with a classic controller, cause control scheme, specifically the keypad, is very important to traditional fighting games. Im willing to bet no one would want to get the 360/PS3 then as it comes with a free controller.

Does Wiimote even has 6 buttons to support SF?
