we should start labeling the attacker a terrorist, might help break down some steretypes as well as send him to Guantanamo where he belongs.

Nah, Christians aren't terrorists. Only people of other religions/beleifs  can be terorists. Didn't you know?

oh ya!

Wow, you guys really need to learn the differance between terrorists, and criminals.

Also just assuming he's christian.

Just as eaisly could be Jewish or an Atheist... or any other religion.

EIther way... the back and forth there is pretty amusing.

First off, you can't have a conspiracy involving 1 person ...

Beyond that, there have been reported cases of supporters of a cause performing illegal and immoral acts to make their opponents look bad. Typically these are act of vandalism, or astroturfing, but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that a troubled individual might be willing to commit a violent act for the same purpose.

The "conspiracy", if it existed involed what you said in your second paragraph.

You're not really familiar with the concept of a conspiracy are you ... A conspiracy requires multiple people to be involved by definition.

At this point in time, my hypothesis is simply a theory to explain the motivations of an individual’s actions. Being that his background shows no evidence of racism, and there is reason to believe that he is for the mosque and tolerant of Muslims in particular, the action of (allegedly) committing a violent hate crime against a Muslim begs the question "What was his motive?"

The multiple people were the organisation that the guy worked for. Is that good enough for you?

Um. Irish Catholics? That statement clearly isn't true.

People are idiots sometimes and or gullible.

The guy was stabbed by someone who never intended to pay the fare, it's as plain as that.

HATE CRIMES tend to leave things behind that indicates the nature of the crime.

If this was a hate crime similarly to a passionate crime, that man would have been stabbed many more times.

This happens all the time, it's just media and politics trying to turn it into something it isn't. In the end I don't like most cabies anyway as they seem to enjoy putting my life in harms way when they drive (Nyc). But I wouldn't go out stabbing them.

I've seen cabies cripple bicyclists on a single idiot move in manhattan. But that never makes the news - nope.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

I never suggested they were involved in planning or committing the violent act, therefore there is no conspiracy
