Why would they advertise a failed game? Spend that money on a new game to advertise and just drop the price of MAG. I loved the beta and wanted to play it more but I never did because I don't know if the game really warrants a $60 price tag. $30 or $40 sounds a lot more attractive. Espeially since unlike Call of Duty I wouldn't have a bunch of friends to play with online and that's whats most attrative when playing an online game. If they wait too long to drop the price then it will become too late as no one is playing the game anymore and a $30 price tag wont even be attractive then.

how do you know its a failed game if you don't have it ? granted you liked the beta?

whats with people and the word "FAIL!" or "FLOP!" ?

I have no idea, it's starting to get to me. Did sony give their projections for this game? if not we can't call it anything.

You guys are being a little over sensitive. It's just a word, I could have used a number of words but I just happened to choose that one. I feel that it should have sold more than it did based on it's pedigree of quality, hype, and marketing but it failed to resonate with the consumer. If Sony were to put marketing dollars behind a game I feel they would see a much better return advertising a different game than trying to increase the sales of MAG. I think they would be better off dropping the price of the game or start bundling it and trying to sell expansion packs much like they did with Motorstorm, because it was a quality game(based on the beta and reviews) but it's failing to stand out amongst other shooters on the market.
