From NintendoLife:

GoldenEye Multiplayer Doubles-Up but Loses its Voice

James Bond always manages to take down megalomaniacal scientists, gamblers and supernationalists with just a few gadgets and some sharp one-liners, but the upcoming GoldenEye will test his wits in multiplayer as it will support up to eight players online.

Bond will have to stay silent on his upcoming multiplayer mission however, as Activision has confirmed there will be no online voice chat through Wii Speak or USB headset, a real disappointment as GoldenEye is surely a game that demands being able to hear your enemies scream as you Klobb them to death for the tenth time.

boo!

Expected as much.

If Activision won't put voice chat on the Wii iteration of their CoD titles, what hope was their for Goldeneye?

The rEVOLution is not being televised

It's official: I'm getting the Conduit 2.

I hope you aren't driven from that when that is revealed to lack some abritrary feature that's not related to the overall quality of the game.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Oh, that is certainly not the case. I've been weighing the pros and cons of both games, and it was really close until this happened. Voice Chat was a major feature I was looking foreward to for both games, and while they both have great variety and about the same interest from me, lack of voicechat kinda took away enough hype for me to tip the other direction. Sorry I didn't elaborate the 1st time.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!, why cant they put voice chat?

Okay. As for me, I'll wait for word of mouth over which is better upon release.

Seems like a strange decision not to, if this game becomes the Wii's definitive online shooter, it would sell itself

I don't care for voice chat, I'm not that crazy of online multiplayer anyways, and hearing teens yelling is just annoyance. Split-screen with real people tops everything.
