Actually after seeing some of the 2D games released this gen, i think this gen is PERFECT for his artwork.

Yes, yes, yes! Bring Amano back and keep Nomura as far away from FF as possible. Nomura is great when it comes to cartoonish stuff but I've never really liked what he as done for FF.
If you only knew how many times I've dreamt of an FF with Amano's art style. It would be great and would perfectly fit the franchise. I don't think SE has the guts to do it though...
Amano is a master and everything he touches is golden.

Lord of Arcana is SE Monster Hunter with a stronger empahsis on RPG elements. Though its called Lord of Arcana they might as well called it Final Fantasy: Lord of Arcana because lots of the monsters you fight come straight out of FF( theres new ones to). There tons tons of Artist * even the Spawn artists is in* And Amano to which is doing alot og the clothing,weapon, general style design.
