Amano's artwork

Im not familiar with Amano's work but honestly I would like to see him work in the next final fantasy because I personally hate Nomura's art.

Anyway, yeah. I miss Amano's aesthetic. It really added something ot the series that has been lacking since his departure, if only in terms of aesthetics.

Think that's something? The middle piece is from his FF1 art - look up the rest of his art from the first 3 Final Fantasies. You can tell they were essentially paying him for sketches and portraits in the latter three, because his art in the first three games is incredible.

I like Amano's art style. The illustrations he did for the first 6 FF games are just amazing. I'd love to see the next FF in that style.

I think that Amano's artwork are very good for games for Nintendo plataforms, like DS, it would match perfectly.

But for Playstation Nomura is better. Old artworks would not combine very well with recent FF graphics. In the past, these artworks were matched because you actually had to have imagination to play a game. But in current's gen, I like the great CGI better.

Amano have a good talent, but not for FF anymore IMO. A new IP is the way to go.

Actually i think his artworks would be PERFECT for Monster Hunter.
