Capcom has a better record of reviving retro games. I imagine a new Final Fight would come first.

Yeah, but nobody bought Bionic Commando.  If they do bring back Final Fight, they'd probably do it like Mega Man 9 and 10.  Old-school and downloadable.

Well the big budget (and hugely disappointing) Bionic Commando wasn't exactly a retro game. Granted its a classic franchise, but that played like a modern game.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed is a better example of what I was implying.

Gotcha.  Anyway, the closest thing to a new Streets of Rage was Die Hard Arcade on the Saturn.  It has some weird loading issues, but it's such a blast to play.

I actually owned that game on the Sega Saturn. It was a blast, one of my favorite beat em ups ever.

I'm not sure what weird loading issues you're talking about.

The screen goes black for a second to load a 3-second clip furthering the story or gameplay.  It does this a lot.  Take for instance, there is one cinematic segment between two stages that is 3 shots long--instead of a smooth cinematic, the screen goes black for a second as if loading each 3-second-long shot individually.  I played the game not that long ago because my son and I tend to have fun with it, and it's pretty noticable.  It's kind of strange.  The only thing I can think is that the Saturn actually is loading these things individually--like it couldn't load a single 10-second cinematic all at once, but had to load each shot (or segment if you like) individually.  Not exactly easy to describe...

Here, check this out:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybOo4ZTVhmI

Start looking at 2:45 and just watch for about 20 or 30 seconds.  You'll see the black screen between moments that should, technically, load together.
