While we are all up and excited about PSJailbreak (PSjb), there might be a risk on playing with PSjb on PSN. According to StreetskaterFU and RichDevX, the Backup manager game ID (LAUN-12345) could be logged/recorded by Sony when logged into PSN (when online). This would obviously allow Sony to see who would be using the illegal PSjb/clone and we could very well see ban waves similar to the Xbox 360. Sony does currently ban PSN/consoles that results in the 8002A227 error code.

As people start getting their PSjb in the next few week, we highly advise that you do not log into PSN while using the backup manager, which means no playing online.

well i know some people only have the ps3 for the single player exclusives like infamous so it wont matter if they cant log onto psn.

It does keep people for playing online with a backup game, but it seems to be pretty much it... You can still uninstall the manager, play it online with your MW2 disc and then install it again to play offline backups.

It's not enough that you can get games mailed to you fairly cheaply through gamefly or just buy used, they have to actually go to these extremes to play games. If you had the money to actually buy the console you can't tell me it's a problem with money. It's so wrong.

Yes, but some single player games require PSN to be logged on to be able to play them. Remember Heavy Rain during the leap year bug?

But then they would have to actually use their money in exchange for something and we can't have that :/
