Stuff like that doesn't happen in the real world. As far as I know, Agent isn't a codename, it's the actual name.


I thought the same thing untill Rockstar pulled out of all these events and still hasn't released much information.

and in first place you are forgetting that GTA4 came to 360 after SONY allowed RS to break the agreement

 

and XBOX fans have as it is gotten past GTA's later

the sense part comes in when SONY and RS had an exclusivity agreement for GTA4 but canceled it for future exclusive

I'm sure Sony can always revise agreements, nothing is ever set in stone with them. They could have decided after seeing Rockstar's planned games like RDR, LA Noire, and Max Payne 3 that they would chose GTA5 exclusivity over one new franchise.
