Makes me wonder. What happens if it comes out mid game? Anyone try this yet?

I have a 20GB and I always thought it only had 2.

Still curious to know what happens if a USB comes out mid game though.

Why worry about a USB coming out mid came?  All the important stuff is stored on the internal 4gb drive im sure.  So at worst it would be like when the old game pads came out.  It would pause the game and ask you to reconnect.  More than likely this would never happen anyway.  But if it did happen you would probably need to just re-buy the game your playing cause its scratched to hell once you bump it that hard.  

I only use the usb thumb drive to store tv shows and movies on.   Or I would try it for you.

USB drives are a dime a dozen, if you don't want to spend money on a hard drive just buy a thumb drive and then in the future when you have a bit more cash and are addicted to live.  Just buy a used one off of ebay for a little of nothing.

Even your 20gb has a usb port hidden in the back.  Take a look!

It makes perfect sense that the 4GB with HDD  would cost more than the250GB 360.  They want to incent you to purchase the 250GB at the beginning.

Also dont expect a smaller drive for less $.  A drive smaller than 250GB doesnt really cost anything less for MS to purchase to sell to you. 

I thought just the fact they have always been rather expensive would have tipped you off before that :P
