Not to mention all the universe changing decisions carrying over from my original save file which really make up the entire appeal and uniqueness of the franchise."

yes. going to see if there is any walkthroughs  for the first one on you tube first though. mass effect was one of the few games that interested me on the xbox so now I can get it without having a xbox. :)

I would but only if people could really convince me it was much better than the first one,  I didnt like the first one at all.  i just dont see that as being possible

I do really want to get it, havent played ME before.... but i thought the point of the game was to play the 1st game and watch your decisions evolve over the course of the trilogy. and according to a lot of people the reason its so good is because of their experience in ME1 - carrying their saved game over. so i'll wait to hear the reaction first. besides Dead Space 2 is out in Jan as well, might just get that.

I get it even if I already have the 360 version.I love bioware games that much.
